Alex’s passion for energy efficiency, security, OpenStack and data centers has spanned senior level positions at Vigilent,Power Assure, Ripcord, Apple, Exodus, TVDC, Wheels of Zeus, Cisco, DEC, and Cadence.
Alex serves on the board of directors of PharmaCapture and CAWEW. He is a technology advisor to Piston Cloud, TED MED and the Lifeboat Foundation.
He also is a member of ARIN, an active contributor to the IETF, and a contributing member of two NIST working groups on SCAP. He is a founding member of Singularity University at NASA Ames Research Center and co-author on several patent applications.
